Made with 3D printing clay, ‘Capilary’ proposes an additively manufactured tiling system. Inspired by muscular capillaries the tiles speculate on the diversion of water within facade systems. The assemblage of bespoke yet mass producible parts moves towards an integrated modular component, and away from tiles as just a surface cladding.
